First and foremost thank you for visiting this website. The citizens of District 1 deserve an involved and energetic advocate in the State Senate. I am qualified, capable and eager to serve. My education and professional and volunteer work is dedicated to solving fundamental problems affecting peoples lives: education, neighborhood safety, child welfare, health care, domestic violence, small business development, the environment. I have lobbied the State Legislature on many important issues affecting the public. I know the system well. I promise to be accessible and responsive to the concerns of my constituents.
